What Is the Current DV Lottery Year?

DV-2027 is the current Diversity Visa ("DV") Lottery Year. It corresponds to the U.S. Government's fiscal year of 2025.

Applications for the DV-2027 program are being accepted now through November 2025.

Selected applicants ("winners") will be notified in early 2026, and they must apply for their Diversity Visa or submit their Adjustment of Status applications during fiscal year 2027, which runs from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.

No applications will be accepted, and no Diversity Visas can be issued, after September 30, 2027.
